August 15, 2021|Ranchi: IIM Ranchi celebrated 75th Independence Day at its both campuses Khelgaon hostel and HEC Area. Prof. Shailendra Singh, Director, IIM Ranchi hoisted the National Flag which was followed by National Anthem. Prof. Singh addressed the faculty, students and staff who were present physically and connected through virtual mode.
Prof. Shailendra Singh, Director IIM Ranchi, said, “Citizens who are doing their duty with honesty and integrity are contributing towards an Independent India. India is a great nation and our Institution is a small part of that great nation. IIM Ranchi’s contribution towards India’s progress may be small but an infinitely great contribution in spirit. Our vision is to provide forward-looking minds for the expansion and growth of the management field in the country. By training young minds into influential managers, we at IIM Ranchi, are contributing our small bit towards maintaining India’s glorious independence. He congratulated the students by saying the Institute exists because of them. These students have excelled and proven their mettle both nationally and internationally and this shall continue in the future as well.”
As a symbol of freedom tricolour balloons were released in the sky by Prof. Singh.
Prof. Singh ended his address by wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day and with 3 chants of Jai Hindi !, Bharat Mata ki Jai! And Vande Mataram!
