The 26th ASISC Regional Athletics Meet, 2024 began with the Inaugural Ceremony today at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Hotwar, Ranchi hosted by St. Xavier’s School, Doranda.
The Chief Guest for the Inaugural Ceremony was Inderjit Singh, International Power lifter. He was joined by Father Fuldeo Soreng, S.J., Principal, St. Xavier’s School, Doranda, and the Principals of all ICSE schools of Ranchi as Guests of Honour.
Inderjit Singh, in his speech, elucidated the following points:
• He said there is no shortcut to success and only perseverance and hard work pay off in the end.
• With reflections upon his own sporting career, he guided the athletes as to the challenges and tribulations one faces in their professional and personal lives.
• He inspired the athletes to rise above the mundane and ordinary and try to be extraordinary.
The Chief guest declared the meet open by hoisting the flag and releasing the balloons.

• Deoghar Zone
• Dhanbad Zone
• Jamshedpur Zone and
• Ranchi Zone.
