Ranchi, Jharkhand | June | 16, 2022 :: The Indian cricket team for the Physically Challenged won the three international T-20 cricket match series being played between India and Nepal 2-1 at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu. The Indian Divyang cricket team ensured their series win by winning the first and second matches. Nepal won the last match. Indian cricket team captain Sayed Shah Aziz won the toss and decided to bat first. Indian Divyang cricket team got all out after scoring 90 runs in 18.2 overs. In this, Zameer Pathan 19, Arun Giri 17, Sayed Shah Aziz 13 and Rambaran Yadav contributed 10 runs. For Nepal, Suman Baral took four, Rahul Kori took two and Tabrez Alam took one wicket.
In reply, Nepal Divyang cricket team won by 1 wicket in the 20th over. Although at a time the match had completely turned towards the Indian team, but the young players of the Indian Divyang Cricket team could not control themselves. Dumber Bahadur 22, Kunj’s 20 and Chhabilal’s 10 contributed to Nepal’s victory. Indian Captain Sayed Shah Aziz and Arun Giri took 3-3 while Amit Kumar and Nemichand took one wicket each for the Indian disabled cricket team. The Man of the Match award went to Suman Baral and the Game Changer award went to Dumber Bahadur. The Man of the Series title went to Indian captain Sayed Shah Aziz, Best Batsman Sayed Shah Aziz, Best Bowler Manivanan and Best Wicketkeeper Dumber Bahadur, Best Fielder Shahul Hameed, Most Emerging Player Santosh Sandy. The umpires of the match were Yogesh Shinde and Ravinder Gupta.
