Induction Ceremony was conducted for new students of Class 11 at St. Xavier’s School, Doranda. The Theme of the Induction Ceremony was “Opportunity does not happen, You need to create them” Chief Guest: Dr. Manish Ranjan, I.A.S. , Secretary, Land and Revenue Department. Government of Jharkhand Principal Fr. Ignatius Lakra welcomed the Chief Guest and the guests of honor. He also addressed the new students of Class 11 and welcomed them to St. Xavier’s Doranda family. The Chief Guest Dr. Manish Ranjan motivated the students with his speech and suggested them to achieve their goals, having proper focus, good emotional quotient, being self aware and self motivated. He also suggested students to Believe in themselves and being Action Oriented. He wished the students Good Luck for their future life and career and motivated them to be a Good Human Being. The new students of Arts, Commerce and Science Stream were welcomed with Student handbook, School Diary and Calendar. They were allotted the sections. They were introduced with the Faculty Members. The students of Class 12 performed dances which included Prayer Dance (You raise me up), “The Mavericks” and “Passion’s insanity”. The school choir also performed the Prayer song “Goodness of God”, “I really want it ” and “Sweet Dreams”. There were video presentations on the History of St. Xavier’s Doranda and Virtual Tour of the School. The +2 Coordinator, Mr. Santosh Kumar briefed the students about the various guidelines to be followed by the students. Vice Principal, Fr. Ravi Bhushan Xess S.J. proposed the vote of thanks. The other guests present for the Induction Ceremony were Sr. Jinsi, Principal Ursuline Convent, Muri, Sr. Divya, Utsav Parashar, Rahul Bhatia , Alumni and DOX Representatives , Fr. Florence Kujur, Superior, St. Xavier’s Doranda. Principal Fr. Ignatius Lakra S.J., Vice Principal, Fr. Ravi Bhushan Xess S.J. , Coordinator +2, Mr. Santosh Kumar , Prefect Mr. Raju C.A. Singh and all teachers were present in the program. The Masters of Ceremony Mrs. Rema Das, Ms. Shweta Samad and Ms. Neha Alam conducted the program in a seamless manner.
