IRCTC plans South India tour for East Indians

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) under ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ programme today announced an 11 nights and 12 days South India tour for tourists of eastern India including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha by “Bharat Gaurav” train.

It will start from December 11 from Malda Town in West Bengal and take the tourists to Tirupati, Meenakshi, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Tiruanantpuram and Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga.

Tourist can board on the train at Tirupati, New Farakka, Pakur, Rampurhat,
Dumka, Hansdiha, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Kiul, Jamui, Jhajha, Jasidih, Jamtada, Chittranjan, Kulti, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ranchi, Rourkela, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur. After tour they can de-board the any of the said stations.

Tourism expense has been divided into three categories. It is Rs 22,750, Rs 36100 and Rs 39500 respectively for budget, standard and comfort class. The expense include fooding and lodging charge.

IRCTC area manager (eastern zone) Jubraj Minz informed this in press conference at Ranchi Railway station one can book ticket visiting IRCTC website www.irctctourism.com and can collect detail information dialing 8595904082 and 8595904077.
