Janmashtami Celebrated with Traditional Zeal at Oxford

Oxford-01Ranchi, Jharkhand | August | 25, 2016 ::  Janmashtami was celebrated with traditional zeal and enthusiasm at Senior and Junior wing of Oxford Public School, Ranchi. Attired in colourful costumes as ‘Radha’ & ‘Krishna’, the tiny tots of classes Prep & I enthralled one and all. The teachers Mrs. Usha Prasad & Miss Pramila Kumari highlighted the importance of this celebration. The music teacher Vikas Ranjan and the students presented a melodious ‘Bhajan’ on the occasion. OxfordThe Principal of the junior wing, Mrs. Rashmi Bakshi addressed the students making them aware of Lord Krishna’s theory of ‘Karma’. She urged the children to perform their duties with sincerity and become good human beings.
The students of senior wing performed a skit on Radha-Krishna which mesmerized one and all present. This was followed by matki fore competition in which students participated enthusiastically. On this auspicious occasion, Suraj Sharma, the Principal of the school wished all the students and staff a very Happy Janmashtami and called them upon to take inspiration from the life of Lord Krishna to fight against the evils of society. On this occasion, A.K. Singh, the Vice Principal, all the teachers and students were present.
