Ranchi, 09 August 2013 :: Jyoti Kumari of Jharkhand won Bronze medal in Wushu for India at Manila , Phillipines. The National Medalist of Wushu won Bronze medal in 7th Asian Junior Wushu championship at Manila , Phillipines on 2nd day of the championship.
Jyoti kumari a student of DAV Khalari was departed to Manila on 6th of Aug as a part of the 23 members Indian Wushu team . She was undergoing rigorous training at Bhopal SAI from last three months.
An International player Jyoti participated in 3rd junior world Wushu championship- Singapore, 4th junior world Wushu championship – Macau, China , 6th Asian junior Wushu championship- Shanghai and won Gold medals in different National championships .
Her brother Mr Deepak Bahadur is also a National Gold Medalist and International player.
The medal which Jyoti won was first individual medal to India in any International championship in Taolu event.
The officials and players of Jharkhand wushu association express their well wishes and congratulations to Jyoti for this big achievement and for her forthcoming Dual Taolu event.

Shivendra Dubey , informed that a grand welcome will be organised on her arrival on Jharkhand on 14th of Aug. He informed that the championship will end on 11th of Aug.
