Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 18, 2016 :: Department of Information Technology & e-Governance of Jharkhand together with INFOCOM, India’s top Busisness Technology Leadership Conference and The Telegraph, the No 1 English Daily of the east, brought forth the third edition of Momentum Jharkhand 2016, the leading Busisness & Technology Conference in the State. This initiative has been bringing together industry leaders, investors, policymakers, IT professionals and academics with an objectives to showcase the state as one of the India’s most attractive investment destinations.
Momentum Jharkhand 2016, conference and Exhibition was inaugurated by Raj Bala Verma ( chief secretary, Jharkhand ) in Chanakya BNR Hotel, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Sunil Kumar Barnwal ( Secretary to chief minister, Secretary IT & e governance & Secretary Industies, Mines & Geology, govt of Jharkhand ) and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
The Welcome address was delivered by Chandan Majumdar ( Director, Sales, AVP, Pvt Ltd.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by Momentum Jharkhand 2016 Excellence awards, wherein, this award recognized the contribution of leaders across industry verticals, who have worked towards the development of the state of Jharkhand.
The award was followed by Vote of thanks which was deliverted by Shantanu Datta ( Resident Editor, Jharkhand, The Telegraph ) .
Momentum Jharkhand 2016 had been the third edition of the event, comprising a day long conference which brought together IT stalwarts, busisness leaders, policymakers, academicians, middle management executives and IT enthusiasts from across the country. The objective of the event has been the strategic and tactical alignment of IT and the various industry verticles with state priorities, identify opportunities for improved IT utilization, improve ambience for development of busisness and develop the state of Jharkhand by driving IT awareness. Through this event thee development potential of the state of the Jharkhand has been showcased to the national investor community.

Post inugural session, the first session was a Keynote address on Doing Busisness in Jharkhand by Rajesh Jha ( CEO, CTL Business, Adani group ), wherein the keynote speaker shed light on various facets of doing investments and chartering out a growth plan for the state.
The second session at the conference focused on Developing an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Jharkhand, where speaker like Rajat Ganguly : General Manager – East Geography, Dell International Services India Pvt Ltd. and Neeraj Kedia : Chairman – Banking and Finance Committee & format President Federation of India Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises ellaborated on developing and chartering a plan for an enterpreneurial ecosystem in the state of Jharkhand. The session was charied by U P Sah ( Director, Dept of IT & e-Governance, Government of Jharkhand )
The next session was on BPO 4.0 : The Next Big Evolution, which was hosted by Major Ashutosh Srivastava, Co Founder Glocal Healthcare system Pvt Ltd as a speaker.
The next session was on ESDM Ecosystem : Scaling up for make in India Opportunity which has speakers like Atul P Agarwal : Founder and Managing Director, Apt Software Avenues, Rajiv Wadhwa : General Manager – Govt Operations, India Electronics and Semiconductor Association ( IESA )
The next session was an Industry Keynote on Disruption in Telecom by Subhro Chatterjee ( CEO of Jharkhand for Relience Jio Infocomm Ltd) where the keynote speaker emphasized on the various disruption taking place in the telecom sector in the current day and age.
The next session was an address on Cyber Security : New Challenges by Vineet Kumar ( Founder and president, Cyber Peace Foundation ) wherein some light was shed on the various challenges in the ambit of cyberspace.
The conference was ended with a vote of thanks from Dhruba Mukerjee [ Vice president, The Telegraph, ABP Pvt Ltd. ]
