Ranchi, Jharkhand 21 August 2014 :: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated to the nation the 765 kv Ranchi-Dharmjaygarh-Sipat Transmission Line (Powergrid) connecting the Eastern and Western parts of the country. He also dedicated the Jasidih Oil Terminal to the nation. In a slew of inaugurations, Modi announced the commencement of work of 3×660 MW North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (NTPC)
Modi inaugurated the transmission link online at Prabhat Tara, Dhurwa, in Ranchi.
On this occassion Dr. Syed Ahmed [ Governor, Jharkhand ], Hemant Soren [ Chief Minister, Jharkhand ], Ravishankar Prasad[ Minister of Communications and Information Technology ], Dharmendra Pradhan [ Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas ], Piyush Goyal [ Ministry of Power ], Sudarshan Bhagat [ Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment ], Ram Tahal Chouhhary [ MP, Ranchi ]Arjun Munda & others were present.
