New Delhi | August | Saturday | 08, 2015 :: After finishing fourth in the recently concluded Volvo Invitational U-21 Tournament 2015, the Indian Junior Men Hockey team will train at Shilaroo, Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2015 in Malaysia. The camp is schedule from 9th August to 11th September 2015.
32 players will be a part of this coaching camp where they will work on team structure, skills and fitness and in the process raise their game for the 5th Sultan of Johor Cup and 8th Men’s Junior Asia cup, which is scheduled in October and November 2015 respectively.
The team to play the 5th Sultan of Johor Cup 2015 which is slated from 11 – 18 October 2015 and will aim at defending their Champions tag and post that they would look at lifting the 8th Junior Men’s Asia Cup 2015.
Talking on the camp, Coach, Harendra Singh said, “The young boys have huge talent and capabilities and can deliver under a tough situation at any given day. The next two tournaments in October and November are very important for us and we will aim to win both the upcoming tournaments. This camp will help us work on our team coordination alongwith working on different areas which will help us deliver better in crucial matches”.
The 5th Sultan of Johor Cup is scheduled from 11 to 18 October 2015 and the Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2015 will be played from 14 to 22 November 2015.
