Ranchi, Jharkhand | February | 03, 2019 :: The day 2 of Rush 4.0, the annual sports and cultural fest of IIM Ranchi saw humongous participation from various colleges like XLRI, IIM Bodh Gaya, RIMS Ranchi, BIT Mesra, BIT Sindri, ICFAI besides the IIM Ranchi students themselves.
The sports committee hosted various events like Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket, athletics and football. The finals of cricket match happened between IIM Ranchi and KIITSOM College. IIM Bodh Gaya emerged as winners in chess while IIM Ranchi stood second. IMS Ranchi won against IIM R in carrom finals. KIITSOM won Badminton Mens finals. IIM R stood as overall winners in the Table Tennis.
The Sheikh Bikhari Stadium vibrated with enthusiasm as students from various colleges participated in events organized by the Cultural Committee of IIM R. On the first day, Shruti Senapati of St. Xavier’s College bagged the first prize, Roshni Gajbhiye of IIM Ranchi stood runners up and Uttam of BIT Sindri got the third prize in solo dance competition. BIT Mesra students impressed the audience with their scintillating dance moves thereby winning the first prize in group as well as duet dance. The evening became all the more lively with students participating in the fashion show wherein IIM R teams bagged the first as well as second prize. The enthusiasm of students was encouraged by the esteemed judges who graced the occasion to evaluate various competitions. Ms. Suparna Barua, an expert in classical music, currently pursuing postgraduation in music from Ranchi University judged the singing competition. Balaji Agrawal, winner of All Jharkhand Dance Competition and Madhuri Mukherji evaluated the dance competitions. The Battle of Bands wherein IIM Ranchi band, Booty More, emerged as winners was judged by Kailash Jackson who has directed and choreographed many songs in Bhojpuri and Nagpuri and Wasim Khan, choreographer at Jackson Dance Institute and Performing Art. The fashion show was evaluated by Aranya Roy.
Day 2, saw some interesting and thought provoking stage plays which were judged by Santosh Mridula, associated with the field of theatre since 15 years and a part of Doordarshan and Aakashwani Ranchi.

IIM Ranchi students gave spectacular performances and bagged winning positions in athletics, long jump and Javelin throw. Two students from RIMS bagged the second position in 200 m and 1500 m races.
