Ranchi, Jharkhand | Friday | 30, 2016 :: Puja Committee, SAIL Satellite Township, Dhurwa, Ranchi is going to celebrate the 26th year of Durga Puja in SAIL Satellite Township, Ranchi this year.
SAIL Satellite Township, Ranchi is situated at Ranchi, where the employees of Steel Authotiry of India Limited reside. Moreover it is adjacent to Shyamali Colony (MECON & SAIL residents), South Office Para, North Office Para, HEC Township, Railway Colony etc. As it is a residential colony, so the puja is being celebrated in very decent and homely environment. It is worth to mention that last year we have won two prizes at Ranchi City (3rd Best Traditional Puja by Hindustan & Best Cultural Puja by Prabhat Khabar). It was observed that most of the residents of Ranchi visit our puja pandal.
This year Puja Pandal will be of like Budhha Monastery to spread the message of peace, unity & harmony in the society. Puja pandal will be of approx 50 ft height & 40 ft width. Work is going on full swing. Maa Durga Idol is being prepared by the famous Murtikar of Ranchi, Ajoy Kumar Paul. Idol prepared by Ajoy Kumar Paul has been winning any of the first three prizes of Ranchi for last so many years.
A lot of cultural events among employees & residents will be organized from mahashasti to mahanavmi including Jagran. Food stalls will be another attraction as previous years as Kaveri, Pizza Hut, WoK etc is likely to put their stalls. The quality of food & ambience is one of the uniqueness of Satellite Colony Puja. A lot of thrust will be given to clean the puja premises to mark swachcch bharat abhiyan.
