Ranchi, Jharkhand 10 September 2014 :: A Seminar cum interactive session was conducted on the occasion of World Suicide Preventation Day at Delhi Public School, Ranchi by DPS in association with Psychogrophic Society, Ranchi.
Dr. Amool Ranjan [ Former Director, RINPAS ] was the Chief guest & Vikas Kumar [ Director, Psychographic Society ] was other Eminent guest.
The Chief aim of the programme was to guide the students , How to deal with Stress and problems in life that leads to suicidal tendencies.
Dr. Amool Ranjan explained the root cause behind the problem and said it has been observed that signs of depression are visible in such kind of people( who have suicidal tendency) long before the child act is commited.
Vikas Kumar put forth his innues in a very interesting and living manner by citing practical Example. It was also highlighted by him that they should learn how to come out from their guiltfeeling and develop a broader perticipation in life. Children should share their problems with their teachers and mothers and try to find solution, He added.
Dr. Ram Singh [ Principle, DPS, Ranchi ] Spoke about the relevence of such session in today’s world. He motivated the Children to promote possitive thoughts in their mind.
The Students of Class XI who attended the seminar were highly satisfied with the interactive session.Desh and Aditya of Class XI were of the opinion that the session was beneficial for them.
