31 December 2014 :: The last day of the year 2014 ( 31st December ) and first day of the New year 2015 ( 1st January ) is being taken as SMS Blackout Days by most of the Indian telecom operators. On this day’s standard SMS charges are applicable & for each SMS one have to pay the standard sms rates. Special SMS pack recharges will not work on this days
