Ranchi, Jharkhand 23 January 2014 :: A programme was organised by Neta jee Smarak Samittee in Subhash Chowk [ In front of Ranchi University Gate] to celebrate Neta Jee Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti in Ranchi.
Jagdish Singh Jaggu, Dr. Siddharth Mukherjee, Arvind Sinha [ Kotwali Thana Incharge ] with other dignitaries paid homage to the leader. A Large number of School Children were also present on this occassion.
Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa Division, Bengal Province, to Prabhavati Devi and Janakinath Bose, an advocate. He was the ninth child of a total of fourteen siblings.
Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist whose defiant patriotism made him a hero in India,Bose had been a leader of the younger, radical, wing of the Indian National Congress in the late 1920s and 1930s, rising to become Congress President in 1938 and 1939.
