05 August 2013 :: Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s biopic on athlete Milkha Singh “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark. The film has earned around Rs. 104 crore.
Interestingly, several states across India have declared Bhaag Milkha Bhaag tax free. The film is running tax-free in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana and Goa.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has become the second biggest grosser of 2013 so far, after Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Film is still Running in Cinama Halls.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is an Indian Biographical, sports film on the former Indian athlete Milkha Singh also Known as Flying Sikh. The film has been produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The script is written by Prasoon Joshi. The film stars Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor and Meesha Shafi. Milkha Singh sold the story for just one rupee. The remuneration from the film will be used for the benefit of needy athletes. The name of the film comes from the last words spoken by his father, which was to save his life during the riots of Partition of India. During the partition, Singh lost his family members.
