June 30, 2015 :: Tamil Nadu chief minister and AIADMK Supermo J Jayalalithaa wins RK Nagar bypoll by a massive margin of over 1.5lakh votes.
Her nearest rival from the CPI could only manage close to 10,000 votes. Election was held on June 27.
AIADMK cadres and supporters went into a celebratory mode after Jayalalithaa’s win.
