The 13th Pingyao International Photography Festival from 13th to 28th of Sept, 2013 in China.

Bangalore, 24 July 2013 :: The 13th Pingyao International Photography Festival will start from 13^th of September, 2013, in Pingyao ancient town of Shanxi province of China. Pingyao is an ancient walled city of Shanxi province in central China nicknamed  “Turtle City,”.  Festival will  end on 28^th of September 2013.

This year’s festival has a theme of “Image of Walking Toward Life” and will come in two parts, one that embodies both ancient history and the modern world, and another that expresses the contradiction between traditions and modern fashions.

1,800 International photographers around the world participated in 2012 and displayed13,000 photos in this exhibition. This year the participation is even more.

Photographers with best portfolio work will be chosen to be a part of  ‘India Team’ for the “Pingyao International Festival”. The selected participants are required to carry 12 photos of sizes 12”x18” or 16”x20” for display in China.

The China Tour will starts from Delhi / Bangalore on Sept. 13 to 28, 2013 (16 days), Visiting Cities:Beijing / Taiyuan / Pingyao / Shanghai / Bangkok
