01 February 2013 :: Opener Batsman Thirush Kamini [ Murugesan Dickeshwashankar Thirush Kamini ] of Indian Women Cricket team became the first Indian Women Cricketer to Hit a Century in ICC Women World Cup. Left Handed cricketer scored 100 in 146 balls with 11 Fours & 1 Six in the opening match of India West Indies ICC Women World Cup cricket match in Mumbai. India won the match with 105 runs. Kamini was awarded Player of the Match.
