Ballabgarh, Faridabad 17 February 2015 :: The closing Ceremony of the Two Day Seminar on Human Rights for Children and Youth Development was held on 17th of Feb 2015 in DPS Ballabgarh. A.N. Tripathi, IFS (Secretary, Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights) was the Chief Guest on the occasion who emphasized the need of hardwork, simple living and alertness towards the rights of children to make the children safe and secured in today’s times. He also expressed his views about our traditional Indian culture to inculcate the moral values in the children. He also stressed that the teacher should perform their duties through more alertness towards the happenings in the surrounding atmosphere.
He delineated the requirement that if every one pays the attention towards the wrong activities happening in the society the crime rate can be lessened.
The discussion was extended by A.K. Mishra, Registrar ( DITMR ) who underlined the importance of being more compassionate towards children for better understanding and bonding between the teachers and the students.
The seminar proved to be more fruitful when all the audience got enthusiasm and encouragement to follow the guidance given by the chief guest.
The Director of the school Mrs. Sarita Sinha was also present in the closing ceremony. Principal of the school Mrs. Vandana Sharma introduced all the teachers with the guests and the vote of thanks was presented by the headmistress of the School Mrs. Purnyma Wadhwa.
