Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | Saturday | 05, 2016 :: The last day of the Vigilance Awareness Week concluded with several competitions which were organized at the XISS Campus. The guests of the event were Dhiraj Kumar and Phool Jha – Senior Managers, CCL.
The event started with the Welcome Speech by Rev. Fr. Pradeep Kerketta, S. J., Asst. Director, XISS, followed by the speech of Dhiraj Kumar where he spoke about CCL’s contribution against corruption and how can the youth play an important role for shaping a corruption-free country.
The Debate Competition witnessed a participation of 10 teams debating over 3 topics related to Corruption. The students expressed their views on the present situation of corruption in India and how can we achieve the desired goal of a corruption-free nation. The Debate participants also addressed the questions from the judges and audience. The judges for the same were Prof. Nidhi Shukla, Prof. Arana Kausar and Dhiraj Kumar.
The Digital Poster Making Competition was launched a day before where the participants had to gather maximum number of ‘Likes’ on the XISS Media Club Facebook page. The total reach of the posters crossed 11,000 on the digital space. The Nukkad Naatak event was enjoyed by the audience, with a strong message delivered on anti-corruption. The on-the spot poster making led to great presentations of opinions through colors and paints.
The event came to an end with a closing speech by Prof. Dr. Pinaki Ghosh and Vote of Thanks by Ms. Shiwangi Khanna.
