Amity University Jharkhand host Innovation and entrepreneurship outreach program

Promoting Ministry of Education’s idea of encouraging entrepreneurship, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) initiated an event titled ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Program’ on 18th January 2023 in Kerala Public School, Jamshedpur with the blessings of their Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Mr. U. Ramachandran, Senior Vice President and Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity University Jharkhand.

The school students showcased their innovative ideas and displayed models in the competition organized. Each group comprised of four to five members.

The theme for the programme was “Innovation in science and Technology”. The students used their concepts to application-based models under the supervision of Dr. Sweta Sharma.

The concept was based on latest technology like Regenerative Braking system, Blind stick, Seismograph, Aquaponics, Bulletproof Armor, Solar Power Irrigation system, Free Energy Generator, Wireless Power Transmission.

Each group with the help of Power Point Presentation and Posters tried to explain their innovative ideas for the societal benefits.

There were as many as 15 groups of students who participated out of which ideas of ‘Electricity generation from Trash’ bagged the first position, second prize was given to ‘Stirling Engine’ team, whereas third position was grabbed by the team “Obstacle Avoiding Bot. Judgement of the models were done by Dr. Dhananjay K. Pandey and Dr. Rahul Singh of Amity University.

The winning team were felicitated by the Innovative council team.

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand appreciated the innovative efforts presented by the students and motivated them.

He further highlighted the vision and mission of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity University Jharkhand and mentioned the contributions of Amity University Jharkhand towards innovative research and outcome.

Ms. Sharmila Mukherjee, Principal, Kerala Public School along with Director Mr. Sharat Chandran and Director (Academics) Ms. Lakshmi Sharat were also present on this occasion.
