Dedicated my last remaining MPLADS funds of Rs 50 lakh to be used for the prevention of COVID – 19 in Jharkhand : Parimal Nathwani

April | 15, 2020 :: The spread of COVID-19 across India demands that we all contribute time, money and effort towards fighting this pandemic, in whatever capacity we can.
In this regard, in my last few days as the Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand,
I wrote to the Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, dedicating my remaining funds in MPLADS (Rs 50,00,000) for prevention, COVID in the region.
I have recommended that these funds be used for providing ICUs, ventilators and isolation/quarantine wards for the people who may require it and other required medical equipment.

My term as Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand may be over, but I will always have the best interests of the people of Jharkhand at heart.
