Delhi | January | 08, 2017 :: Delhi legal Service Authority [ DLSA ] Shahdara jointly with North-East DLSA in association with Samrasta Foundation organised awareness programme on 7th January 2017 at Bhola Nath Nagar Shahdara regarding newly launched scheme of Government for providing financial assistance to expecting mothers and newly born girl child.
Advocate Dinesh Kumar Gupta delivered the lecture about availing the facility from this scheme and also told about the procedure for availing financial support. For Expecting woman the government will be providing a financial benefit of Rupees 6,000 for vaccination expenses, hospital admission expenses and nutrition food if a expecting woman registered under this scheme. The money will deposit direct in the bank account to get rid on the corruption and black money.
Advocate Dinesh Kumar also told audience that how they can take a financial benefits from Government if a expecting woman gives birth to a girl child. Government launched Beti Bachao Beti Padao scheme for only a girl child to prevent the killing of a girl child and to ensure the protection of a girl child. And also told about the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojna for child between the age group of zero to six years and how they can do better savings for their education and marriage.
Many of the audience gained about the law and guidelines of these schemes. Advocate Dinesh Kumar and Manoj Kansal President of Samrasta Foundation took interactive session with the audience and cleared the doubt.
