Ranchi, Jharkhand | April | Saturday | 02, 2016 :: Department of Hotel Management bid adieu to Thai food festival in its own style. The food festival came to close after fun filled Thai culture and cuisine which was the mood of BIT for three long days. Last day of Thai Food festivalin Department of HMCT witnessed different cultural event and it is not exorbitant to say that the best was stored for the third and final day. Thai Candle Dance “Fawn Tian” was performed by HMCT girl students( Snigdha, Smridha and Kanak).The dance was appreciated by everyone present in the campus.
Dr. Praveen Srivastava, HOD, HMCT appreciated efforts put in by the students and faculty members of department without whom it would not have been possible to organise such a Grand Food Festival. Dr. Abhinav Shandilya, Prof. Gautam Shandilya, Prof. Pratima Ekka and Prof. Sanjiv Srivastava shared their expertise in supervising the preparation of Thai delicacies for the food festival. Prof. Abhisek Jana supervised the Service in Thai style. Prof. Nishikant Kumar, Prof. Pranjal Kumar and Dr. Rajeshwari Chatterjee were looking after the décor and cultural activity within the arena. Collectively they created ambience, service style, food and mood to bring Thailand in the BIT Mesra Campus.
The selfie booth, The props, the dragon, Thai food, Thai dance, Thai dress and Thai welcome all created an ambience which will remain fresh in the memory of participants of the food festival for long long time. All Students were heard talking about next food festival and they were seen pepped up to take new challenges in coming future.
