XISS :: Farewell – Au Revoir [  Batch 2014-16 ]

Ranchi, Jharkhand | April | Saturday | 01, 2016 :: A ‘bittersweet symphony’, that is what this farewell can be termed as comprising of moments: some familiar, some unfamiliar, some joyous and some sad!

The event started at 4p.m. with Lighting-of-the-Lamp and Welcome Speech by the respected Dr. Father Alexius Ekka S.J. It was followed by a mesmerizing performance by the musical band, MAXISS.The juniors from the group PULSE made the evening a splendid affair for the seniors by dancing to the tunes of larki kar gayi chul, animal and masti ki paathshala. Bhaskar & Group performed on chura ke dil mera, aaj ki party meri taraf se. The musical act made everyone groove to the beats of songs from the latest movies. The magical show which was performed by Shubham Raj, from IT left the audience spell bounded.

A flashback of memories in the form of videos was played by each department for the out-going batch.The event also saw some brilliant performances from senior’s side including dance acts, flash mob.

The event came to a closure with a vote of thanks delivered by first year student of Human Resource Department, Sweta Sinha, followed by dinner and an open dance stage for DJ Dimpy.

The event was a huge success, all thanks to the organizers of the event : Prianjan, Ramya, Tanul, Sweta, Sumit, Aditi, Shreysee and Rudrendu.
