Our goal is to be in the top 5 management institutes in India. A few years ago, we were in the top 30, and now we have reached the 17the position. I want to take it to a single-digit figure and then to the top 5. So, dream big and work hard to achieve it, and nobody can stop you from achieving it”.He emphasized that young minds should become entrepreneurs and inspired students to set their goals and work towards them without looking left and right. Youth is the source of Innovation, Invention and Ideas and India being a country with the maximum young population has the potential to become a very powerful country in future. Young talents from IIM Ranchi should help in promoting and strenthening local entrepreneurship with the hlp of technology so that local becomes global. Overall, apart from education we should also focus on to develop research and problem solving methods. This will be benificial for students, Institute and Country.

He further added as business leaders, students have the duty to ensure that your companies also provide benefits to the society where they operate. While the Government has tried to promote Corporate Social Responsibility spending by making it mandatory for selected large businesses, the real expectation goes much beyond that. Businesses should contribute voluntarily to the development of the society in whatever way they can do best. The ultimate aim is a better future for the millions of people across the country through better education, nutrition and better healthcare. Jharkhand state, which is IIM Ranchi’s catchment area has immense mineral resources and is base of various large, medium and small enterprises. Many reputed public and private firms, particularly heavy industries are based in the state. He believes IIM Ranchi would be instrumental in helping these organizations in its home state.

He also asked students to maintain a balance between their personal and professional life. In times of confusion they should go through the golden pages of History it has answers to all the questions and it is full of Knowledge.
