The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi celebrated the 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The celebration, which was held at IIM Ranchi’s Permanent Campus, commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Dr Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi.
After that, Director IIM Ranchi addressed the faculty members, students and staff.
He emphasised the freedom gained from the sacrifices made by our ancestors.
He sensitised the gathering on the new developmental parameters and sustainable development as a future goal.
He emphasised the importance of spreading happiness and ensuring mental well-being, evident from India’s performance in the happiness index in recent years and brought forth the activities undertaken by the counselling cell of IIM Ranchi to ensure a healthy environment.
The event was followed by cultural events, where students, faculty members and members of staff participated.
The cultural events included songs on patriotism and women empowerment, nukad natak on “Azadi Sabki Hai”, and a dance performance.
The audience enjoyed and applauded the stellar performance put the IIM Ranchi fraternity.
