Barkagaon, Hazaribagh | January | 27, 2023 :: The Adani Foundation distributed nutrition kits for the fourth phase among 60 TB patients on the occasion of Republic Day. Earlier, three-stage nutrition kits have been distributed among them. The remaining two more phases of nutrition kits will be distributed in the next two months.
The kits, distributed under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Nikshay Poshan Yojana’, included dietary items like Horlicks, Chyawanprash, Dal, Chana, Jaggery, Moong and Mustard Oil.
All these patients are financially weak, and have been adopted by the Adani Foundation.
Addressing the program organized at the Community Health Center in Barkagaon, Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. BN Prasad said, “This is a great effort by the Adani Foundation. Only such efforts will help in the efforts to reduce the number of TB patients. TB is not an incurable disease. If it is treated on time, it can be got rid of forever.”
*Sports kits distributed among youth on the occasion of Republic Day
The Adani Foundation distributed sports kits among 18 youths of Gondalpura and Gali villages on Thursday on the occasion of Republic Day.
With the aim of promoting sports at the village level, the kits distributed among the youth included shocker boots, leg guards, knee caps, jerseys, jackets, six footballs and sports bags. These young people included football and volleyball players.
