Ranchi, Jharkhand | January | 19, 2021 :: The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy and Governance, IIM Ranchi inaugurated Winter School 2021.
This event will be conducted for 5 days, 19th-23rd January 2021 and the topic for the event is Leadership, Policy and Governance.
Prof. Shailendra Singh, Director, IIM Ranchi welcomed the chief guest, faculty and participants connected both online and offline mode. He said that ,” The winter school 2021 will be eventful and interactive and will help in imparting knowledge related to leadership, policy and governance.” He further wished good luck to all the participants.
The event was graced by the Shri. Madhukar Gupta, Ex IAS Officer and CSR Expert, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan as the Chief Guest. He said that, “The first and foremost thing to do is to understand the one’s purpose and potential in life. Anything is achievable in life if we put our strategy and hard work in the right direction.” He also quoted Bill Gates and said,” He is not famous for Microsoft but he is known for his philanthrophic activities which he performs as the Chairman, of the Bill Gates foundation.”. He further added that Atal Bihari Vajpayee Centre for Leadership, Policy and Governance provides a platform for sharing and creation of Knowledge. Learning has to be followed by hardwork and practical knowledge.
