Ranchi, Jharkhand | November | 18, 2022 :: General Manager (HR) of Usha Martin N.N.Jha underlined the importance of training for skill development while inaugurating a month long paper plate and paper bowl manufacturing training programme for rural people organized by Usha Martin Foundation at Jharkhand Government Tool Room today.
“We take steps for work only when there is a will in us. And with such meaningful efforts, our life becomes successful. This success requires skill which comes from continuous skill development. Training is always an effective medium for skill development, which brings change in the society,” Jha said.
Jha said the training becomes purposeful if it is connected with self employment. He said that skilled women not only become self-sufficient but can also manage their family and children properly.
Tool Room Principal MK Gupta said that many types of training programs are being run for the benefit of the institute in the development of the village.
“Training programmes are conducted at regular intervals with the help of Usha Martin. After one month’s training, willing and progressive women will be helped to provide loans for self-employment and to start their own production, so that there is no difficulty in the initial phase,” principal Gupta said.
Foundation’s secretary Mayank Murari gave information about the program being run by the organization.
He said that an awareness campaign is being run in 18 villages around the factory for self-employment. Tejnath Mahato from Massu village said that he will earn money by making good use of his time through this training.
Sewing-embroidery training will be started from the month of December.
