Indian Wushu Team won 1Gold , 4 silver & 7 bronze medals in the 5th International Pars Wushu Cup

September | Tuesday | 22, 2015 :: The 5th International Pars Wushu Cup concluded successfully at Azadi Sports Complex, Tehran, Iran. from 18th – 21th September, 2015.More than 200 Wushu athletes from nineteen teams from 18 countries took part in this championship including Iran, America, Russia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkmenistan, Vietnam and Afghanistan ,Armenia

A 16 members Indian Wushu team (13 players & 3 coaches ) took part in this championship and won 1 Gold , 4 Silver & 7 Bronze medals .

L. Budhachandra Singh won Gold medal in 56 Weight category he beat Masod Ansari of host Iran Team. While Mukesh Choudhry lost his finals match with Asian Games Gold medalist Mohsen Seifi & Rajani Deori lost his 75 Kg Finals with Sajas Abbasi of Iran.

It is very important Wushu event just before the forthcoming World Wushu Championship held at Jakarta, Indonesia from 11th to 18th November 2015.

In the last edition, Indian Wushu Team won 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the tournament at Zenjan, Iran
