Delhi | December | Friday | 23, 2016 :: Sensitization program relating to HUMAN RIGHTS was jointly organised by Shahdara District Legal Services Authority and NORTH EAST District Legal Services Authority at Conference Hall, Karkardooma Courts on 23rd Dec 2016 for Police officers ( ACP, Inspector, Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector) from Shahdara and North East Districts of Delhi.
Ms Monika from ACTION INDIA, NGO delivered the lecture to police officials and discussed in depth the various legislative provisions and judicial decisions which were related to Human Rights.
Senior police official applauded the success of the program and said that such program are path-providers and enlightening for better investigations in criminal trials and also sensitize about duty upon the persons wearing uniform.
Akash Jain Secretary DLSA Shahdara and Arvind Bansal Secretary DLSA North East also addressed the police officials.
Supritendent Ms. Usha Kaul of DLSA Shahdara together with other staff members Abbas, Bhuvan Pant, Krishan Yadav, Ms. Sharmila were also present.
