Ranchi University Performing and Fine Arts department organised “Vasant Utsav” in Aryabhatta Auditorium, Morabadi.

Ranchi, Jharkhand  | February  | 17, 2021 ::  Ranchi University Performing and Fine Arts department organised “Vasant Utsav” in Aryabhatta Auditorium, Morabadi.

The department started in 2016 with specializaton in Theatre. Later on specialization in music, dance and painting started.

A cultural evening was organised by the department where vice chancellor Ramesh Pandey felicitated toppers of 2017-19 batch.

Shankar Pathak of Theatre(2016-18), Tanisha Bhatia of Dance(2017-19), Suparna Barua of Music (2017-19) and Ravi Prakash Tiwari of Theatre(2017-19) were topper of their batch and were given trophy of excellent performance.On this occasion DSW Dr. P.K. Verma, Registrar Dr. Mukund Chandra Mehta, etc were present.

The VC announced that in near future the Department of Performing and Fine Arts will be shifted in new building.

The Pro VC Kamini kumar stated that department has flourished a lot in limited resources and has done a commendable job. She further requested to organise such cultural program every month.

The Director of the Performing Arts Department Nilima Pathak gave welcome speech and the department co ordinator Dr. Smriti Singh proposed vote of thanks.
