Senior RU professor Jyoti Kumar retires

Ranchi, Sept.30: Ranchi University Botany department head Jyoti Kumar, who retired today after 42 years of his service, was given farewell in the university campus.

Professor Kumar, who guided 24 students to get Ph D and one to get D.Sc, during his emotional speech in the farewell programme said though he became free from official responsibility but he will be always available for his colleagues, teachers and students.

Apart from working as PG department head, Prof Kumar, also gave his service director, HRDC, dean of science faculty.
