23 December 2012 :: Seven Delhi Metro stations near Raisina Hill and India Gate are closed for public.
These Stations are Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Race Cours, Barakhamba, Mandi House and Khan Market.
The decision was taken after protests over the gang-rape of a young girl erupted in Raisina Hill, the seat of power.
Thousands of youth clashed with police undeterred by the repeated use of water cannons, teargas shells and baton charge yesterday.
