Ranchi, Jharkhand | February | 15, 2018 :: .Ankit Kumar of class-X and Suminder Kaur of class XI, won the second prize in the 1st Korea-Indian Friendship Painting Competition 2017 of PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games Painting Competition. It was organized by Korean Cultural Center India, Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
It was indeed a matter of great honour for the students as the prizes were given by the Korean ambassador in the Korean culture centre, New Delhi.
After receiving the award, Ankit Kumar and Suminder Kaur left for Korea to be a part of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
The Principal of the school Dr. Ram Singh congratulated both the students on receiving the award and said that such achievements will not only brighten the future of students but also motivate other pupils to excel. He also said that this trip to Korea will help them explore and know about Korean culture and heritage.
On this achievement sharing their happiness Ankit Kumar and Suminder Kaur said that it was an honour for them to receive this award from the Korean ambassador. They also said that this was only possible due to their honourable Principal Dr. Ram Singh, who provided them this golden opportunity.
