A HEALTHY OPTION

Hello folks,

How are you?

Hope you are doing good!

Well, today in Tasty Bits, I have something healthy for you all. Now, if someone says healthy, to some people it comes in mind that maybe those healthy stuffs not be that delicious but this one gonna be tasty as well as healthy. Well, I know you all must be thinking about that what type of food am I talking about? So, breaking the suspense, the snack I am talking about is Baked Oven Lays.

Heard?:

Yes?: Maybe you can get more info here

No?: No problem, I will make you familiar!

So, Baked Oven Lays , as the name says its baked and not fried, therefore a better and healthier option if you want to have chips. Potato Chips is very popular among all age groups. Everyone just love to eat that, but what happens is we sometimes overeat and as its fried so its not at all healthy. If you will read its nutritional content, you will come to know that you actually gained so much calories and fats in such a less time. And if you have an option to choose for baked, why not try this?

Now, I am going to tell you the basic difference between the two so that you can easily conclude that Baked is the best option which you should opt for:

Starting with the fried ones, the ingredients used are potatoes, Vegetable oil (sunflower, corn or canola), salt whereas baked ones are made up of dried potatoes, corn starch, corn oil, soy lecithin molasses (wheat starch and soy flour), onion powder, fructose, natural flavors, milk, soybean oil, garlic powder etc.

Now about the Canola oil, you will be surprised to know that Canola Oil is a key ingredient in pesticides. You can very well imagine the harmful effects of that whereas Corn oil, Soybean Oil are the healthiest ones!

Comparing baked versus fried potato chips, baked crisps have substantially less fat. While the Baked Lay’s Original Potato Crisps have 3g of total fat, Lay’s Classic Potato Chips have10 g of total fat. So, there is a difference of total 7g. According to a research, the daily value for total fat should not exceed 65 g.

Diving into a deeper level for nutritional values, one serving of Baked Lay’s Potato Crisps provides:

2 percent of the daily values for Calcium,

4 percent of Thiamin, Vitamin C, Riboflavin and Magnesium,

6 percent of Niacin and Phosphorus and

8 percent of the daily value for Vitamin B6.

0g of Saturated Fats

So, if you are getting this much amount of nutrition in your body, I don’t think it’s a bad option out there to have Potato wafers, isn’t it?

So folks! Don’t worry and just freely have those baked oven lays whenever you like, either it be your party, or just a side-dish or it can be just for time-pass. The happiness is when you eat both healthy and tasty. Chips lover out there! now no need to think before eating, you can munch it on anytime.

So, I will be back with a new bit next week, till then buy one and enjoy those Oven Chips and let me know about your experiences.
