Ranchi, Jharkhand | May | 06, 2017 :: Delhi Public School, Ranchi a school with a difference; has always been the epitome of academic excellence where the holistic development of every individual child has been the utmost priority and keeping this in mind a ‘Sizzling Summer Treat’ filled with fun and frolic was organised on 6th May 2017 in the school premises for the tiny tots of Std Prep to II.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi inaugurated the programme. He remarked that DPS Ranchi has been a trend-setter in organizing such activities for its students. He also remarked that children acquire skills and knowledge easily if we make the surrounding stimulating and purposeful. In such an environment where work and effort is valued, the child’s self-esteem is heightened and from this results self-motivation.
With the sweltering heat and the mercury soaring high, this summer carnival was indeed a welcome break for the kids from the humdrum of the daily routine.
An array of fun-filled activities like Magic Show, Drawing &Dance competitions kept the little ones engaged, throughout the evening. The ‘Rain Dance’ on foot tapping numbers and peppy jingles acted like a wonderful treat which was savoured by the young ones. The kids had a rollicking time on a huge Mickey Mouse Jumping bag & Trampoline. They jumped with ecstasy and munching on to pop corns and candy floss, they thoroughly enjoyed the revelry and made ‘Tattoos’ on their arms and faces. A Selfie Corner was arranged for the little ones to get their photos clicked and treasure the memories of this eventful day.
It was indeed a blissful day for the tiny bundles of joy and each and every child danced and laughed with glee and enjoyed whole heartedly.
