Academic Credibility will Build the Institutional Brand ::  Prof. Kshiti Bhushan Das, VC CUJ

Ranchi, Jharkhand  | March | 03, 2023 ::  Central University of Jharkhand has celebrated 15th foundation day on 3rd March 2023. Delivering the presidential speech the Vice Chancellor of the university said only academic credibility will build the institutional brand.

In the same speed he gave stress on the fact that intellectual pursuit should lead to intellectual property contributing to the society.

Addressing the university he reminded everyone to establish an efficient work culture and set achievable targets. Prof. J. N. Nayak (OSD), Registrar, Dr. S. L. HariKumar, Dean- Academic Affairs, Prof. Manoj Kumar and Dean-IQAC, R. K. Dey also spoke on this occasion highlighting achievements and challenges the university has faced in the past 14 years.

Awards were distributed for different sports activities, competitions and academic success. School of Natural Sciences and School of Engineering and Technology bagged the most number of prizes. Besides, the School of Education,

School of Languages, School of Management Science and other schools got winner as well as runners up award in different categories. Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the university were also given awad for participating in sports activities.

In addition to sports, the university has given prizes to winners of poetry, essay, painting and photography competitions to celebrate this day.
Awards were also given for academic and research activities. Prof. A. C. Pandey from School of Natural Resource Management, Dr. Basudeb Pradhan from School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Ranjit Kumar from School of Languages and Dr. Rabindranath Sarma from School of Social Science and Humanities got prizes for their exceptional research activities.

Awards were also given to the non-teaching employees of the university for their contribution to the university.

The names are Dr. Abdul Halim, Mr. Mahendra Rajwar and Mr. Kailash Sahoo.

The programme was compared by Dr. Pragyan Pushpanjali and Dr. Jagadish. DSW, Dr. Ratnesh Vishwaksen, Dean R&D, Dr. A. K. Padhy, Estate Officer, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Chief Proctor, Dr. Mayank Ranjan as well as other faculties like were present on the occasion.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Vimal Kishor, Finance Officer-Incharge.

Programmes were held at Manatu as well as Brambe campus.

Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students and scholars participated in the programme to make it successful.
