Research conclave :: Cutting edges of Science and Technoloy

Ranchi, Jharkhand  | March  | 03, 2023 ::  The Research and Development Cell, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi in the series of research conclave, the first talk has been organized on the session “cutting edges of Sciences and Technology”.

In the inaugural session of the Conclave, Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Kshiti Bhusan Das welcomed the distinguished guest Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar, Secretary, Department of Sciences and Technology, Govt. of India and other audience.

In his welcome address, Prof. Das elaborated the research centric academics and its societal liabilities involving faculty members and researchers of various levels and academic disciplines within the University, as well as from other Universities or Institutions to promote a shared vision and understanding for better solution of scientific and social needs.

Dr Srivari has emphasized on various aspects of research in science and technology for better society and nation building.

With his vibrant talk he encouraged the scholars and faculty members present in the program.

He drew his concern over the collaboration of research across the world.

The Conclave’s distinguished guest of honor Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar also expressed his willingness to foster the research and technology at CUJ so that state like Jharkhand will be benefited in volume. On this auspicious occasion,

Director-IQAC Prof. Ratan Kumar Dey extended his welcome note to the chief guest and emphasized the needs of contemporary research at CUJ.

Prof. Arun Kumar Padhy, Dean Research and Development, CUJ provided the glimpses of ongoing research and urged the secretary for a better support to the nascent research ecosystem of the University.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Associate Dean, Research and Development, CUJ introduced the theme of Conclave to the learned audiences and also expressed his gratitude to the guest DST-secretary for his inspirational and promising words for a better complementation in CUJ research funding.
Dr. Nirmali Bordoloi, member of R&D cell anchored the program and Dr. Seema Mamta Minz, member of R&D cell extended the vote of thanks at the end.

University Professors and Officers graced the occasion with their remarkable presence, OSD Dr. J.N. Nayak, Prof. Manoj Kumar (Dean-Academics), Prof. Sarang Medhakar, Prof. S.K. Samdarshi, Prof. A.C. Pandey, Controller of Examination Prof. Prabhudev Kurle, Deans and Heads of all the respective Schools and departments, scholars and students of CUJ and faculty members from other institutes of Jharkhand were present in the program. The program was ended with national anthem.
