Ranchi, Jharkhand | May | 31, 2021 :: IIM Ranchi organised a Pledge ceremony on World No Tobacco Day to inform public on the dangers of using tobacco. Prof. Shailendra Singh, Director, IIM Ranchi administered the Pledge to the faculty, students and staff who were present physically and connected through virtual mode.
The Pledge read as follows:
On this occasion of World, No Tobacco Day, I take a Pledge that I shall never smoke and consume any type of tobacco products in my life and motivate my family or acquaintances to not to smoke/ use any tobacco products. I shall motivate my colleagues for the same.
