The Effect of Meditative Asanas on Physiological System

There are mainly three types of Asanas :
1. Meditative
2. Cultural
3. Relaxative.

Meditative Asanas : During meditative Asanas practitioners sits on a particular posture with the spine and head erect  relaxing all the muscles, keeping the hands on the knees in Jnana Mudra.
Due to the erect posture of the body, the organs like heart and lungs in the chest cavity, stomach, intestines, liver, kidney, pancreas and spleen in the abdominal cavity, the sex organ in the pelvic cavity, become free from pressure and are able to work freely through the free flow of blood to these areas.
As a result, they become healthy and strong
