Ranchi, Jharkhand | August | 24, 2022 :: On occasion of National Eye donation fortnight 2022, Bihar Eye Bank Trust which runs Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital and Research centre has undertaken several activities. During this fortnight efforts are made throughout India to increase awareness regarding the need for Eye donation. The need to protect people’s eyesight is also important so Eye checkup camps and free cataract operation camps are planned along with Eye donation talks.
On Wednesday 24th August 2022, banners informing the public that it is Eye donation fortnight will be hung in different parts of Ranchi.
Thursday 25th August : The fortnight will open with early morning distribution of pamphlets in morhabadi maidan.
Friday 26th August 2022 : Free Eye checkup will be done for members from the press and media from 11am to 1pm.
Saturday 27th August and 3rd September 2022, Eye testing with Eye donation talks will be done in Hi Q international Academy and Utkarmit Baal Vidalaya, Bariyatu respectively from 10 am to 1pm
Sunday 4 September 2022 a roadside Eye donation camp will be held at Booty more from 10am to 1 pm.
Monday 5 September 2022 : A closing programme of Eye donation fortnight will be held at Jharkhand Eye Bank, Hospital and Research centre at 5pm, Dr. Mahua Manji ( MP, Rajya Sabha ) wil be the chief guest, Sri C. P. Singh ( MLA ) will be guest of Honour
